£60K for a sports/GT car... What would you buy?

Talking to a customer today who got me thinking Rolling Eyes

£60K + or - £10K what would you buy and why?

Are there still investment opportunities out there on sports/GT cars?

What would bring the most fun? Or the biggest return?

Well it seem to come down to practical uses in the end!

Porsche 911 GT2/3, Lamborghini Gallardo or Ferrari 360/430 for track day or sunday use...

Ferrari 612, Bentley Continental or Aston DB9/DBS for (more civilised) sunday use or cross european driving hols...

Classic’s (sky’s the limit i guess)

If you want to be CERTAIN of making a future profit then it has to be a classic Porsche:

New Alpine when it comes out next year (very tempted...) or a classic one, however I do not think 60 will buy a good one unfortunately.

£10k or under - Have to be an MGB (early 70s chrome bumper)
£60k + DB9 makes a very compelling argument as does an early Ferrari 328

...I can dream with the best of 'em! Sad Life is what happens while youre making other plans.
