PICKED IT UP....

That 'take your time' thing didnt last long!!

was looking patiently and carefully over the last couple weeks, and then bang...saw one pop up in kent, viewed it first thing Sunday morning, it was raining that day!

picked it up yesterday...in the dark, and then next day noticed some nasty swirl and abrasion marks in certain places , so raised this with dealer (main dealer franchise) - promised a fix but in a vague way, needless to say I will put a rocket up their asses if they try and mess. Rejection is not unfamiliar to me (even though it'd be a pain to find the same spec again)

apart from that - absolutely perfect...pimento interior - beautiful...

Sublime, smooth ride, and definitely no slouch. Fit and finish definitely a couple of notches above the L494

AB is definitely the way to go.... as I say I had a few FFRR courtesy cars from LR in 2014, non were AB.

Meridian 1700W - what a system...haven't heard better in a car.

seems a natural progression from the L494 Sport

In fact, as little as the gap is between the L494 and L405, I am glad i made the change.

Thanks guy !!!

Loving every thing about it ...

High spec ... Well worth the extra over the SE and standard Vogue

Especially when buying used.

Ride is sublime , but the set up with 22's doesn't like little ridges or potholes

Maybe it's mild version of the dreaded knock

What's the normal symptoms ?

Liking the red (Pimento I think its called?) interior....

Sat in a sport with the same colour interior and liked it in the flesh too.

Enjoy! I will hopefully be following in your footsteps in the not too distant future

Thanks chaps.

Thoroughly enjoying the car (when I have a chance)

A very natural progression from the L494 Sport.

FBH is a very nice option!....a true must have.

@Jkay - dont' delay it dude, get it bought!

@AZIZBBU - Thanks man!- to be honest I thought the same as your Mrs when speccing my Sport, bottled it and went with Ebony/Ivory inside and Fuji White exterior. This time its loud inside and quiet outside. I absolutely love the colour of yours though = truly individual Thumbs Up
