I've used these people before for several condensers, always been good quality and arrived quickly, but never ordered a compressor from them.

£296 inc VAT for one doesn't seem bad!

They do whine when they get low on gas , might not be as bad as you think but 296 GBP is good if you have too . 2008 MY Supercharged

Ah thanks for that will pop into local boys and get them to regas - the lube won't do any harm

If you do end up needing a new one consider getting yours reconditioned. I got mine done last year after the clutch went and it was a lot cheaper than a replacement. I used a firm in Warwick called compressortech.

Also ask them if they do a leak test when they regas. No point in regassing if there's a leak. Not all (usually those who advertise a cheap regas) do a leak test. John

A regas involves a vacuum check and hold which is itself a leak test One day your life will flash before your eyes......................................make sure yours is worth watching!
