OMG I have only gone and done it!

Local Stratstone dealer called me in today, (as you may be aware I haven't been able to locate a black and black 405)
My very first visit to them 4/5 weeks ago they had a new autobiography in the showroom with black and black but didn't want to pay the £110k price tag but it was stunning hence the search for a used black on black 4.4 autobiography!

So they sat me down and Said the RR is still here out the back and we know you like it very much, umm ok I thought, then I was offered a £5k discount on it I said thank you very much but it is still to tasty for me! To which he replied where do you want to be (I hate that question, so told him I can't sell it and buy it!!)
So I was them summoned to the head of finance for a chat here we go
He said I am not going to give you the usual bull so I will just put the best deal on the table I can as I can see your not a man to be toyed with (his words )
Well in fairness he did, within 10 minutes I bought it
I was given a deal I couldn't refuse...........discount of £20k!!!! Free tow bar and discounted pro guard, gap and tyre insurance.

Pick it up Friday, I am so excited

That certainly is an impressive discount!! I am currently looking at buying a new RR but can't get anywhere near that level of discount. Do you have any insight as to why it was so heavily discounted - was it coming from Land Rover UK or just dealer cutting losses and getting out? (Not even sure if that happens)

From speaking to various people it seems the mark up on Range Rovers is around 13%, so there is a loss being absorbed somehwere. I remeber post 2008 Financial crisis there were some crazy deals avaialble on Range Rovers, is this a post brexit move by the manufacturer or just a lucky one off purchase. sorry just interested to know if I am likely to be able to sharpen the pencil on my purchase at all.
