Odd wiper behaviour

Drove my 4.4 down to Cornwall today, about 5 hours. Everything fine, except when we left the motorway onto a back road my wipers decided to just not work. Turned the car off and on, and it all worked.

Any idea what happened?

Rangeroveritus, a very common complaint... if it doesn't work now a switch off or battery reset usually works... premature alopecia happens if you try to define WHY..... Thumbs Up Rolling with laughter Pete

I suspect it's because I was just telling my son's friend all the things I'd done to it, and that it was mostly sorted! Probably just to let me know to stay on my toes Smile

Now to find somewhere down here that sells LPG...

The wipers on my 2004 car developed an intermittent fault like that. I think it is quite a common problem and there will be threads about it on here. Relay failure is often the cause, in my case it was something else, I can't now remember, but not expensive to fix. Better to check it out than assume it will cure itself, you never know when it will fail again. Only Range Rovers since 1988
