Germany 2013 Range Rover Vogue SE 5.0 SC V8 Havana

In the land of AMG, the common V8 burble is standard Wink - every G63 or G65 (and there area a lot of them around the Stuttgart area) is louder than the SVA... Laughing - that is why i buy British only - to not be so common! Cool All my spelling errorz are belong to me!

Some interesting views on here, but everyone to their own of course. What I find fascinating is why some feel the need to 'put down'?..............................

I am waiting for delivery of a 4.4 AB and am looking into a JE Engineering upgrade - 810NM of torque sounds great to drive and would show an SVR a clean pair of heals in the real world, might be an alternative for you?

I've had two V8 Diesel and three petrol Range Rovers, never again would I go back to Diesel.
Not for the Performance but just because they're so much more refined and quite simply a better drive.
Buying a Diesel Range Rover is a bit like having a nice swimming pool and then saving money by half-filling it.

Interesting - I think the torque characteristics of the 4.4 better suit a large heavy car then the S/C engine.

Would agree re torque delivery - makes for more relaxed progress, also 30 mpg vs 20 mpg means a lot less less time spent filling up.

Just a shame the SDV8 is less refined than the TDV6.

Hybrids don't get Dynamic Response. Very important for a big SUV like Range

United Kingdom

Bumped into this at the Boat Show in London yesterday, not sure about the bodykit which comprises the new front bumper assembly, side skirts, new vent grilles on front doors and the new rear bumper all for an additional £10k I must admit I liked the revised rear bumper with exhausts integrated rather than hanging below, just looks tidier and the sections behind the rear wheels look more interesting.

Don't like the front at all but the wheels are nice, interior is OK but I'm not a fan of two tone leather myself which is standard on these.

According to the LR chappie, it rides slightly firmer than an SC but has improved handling and brembo brakes to help it stop faster.
I appreciate this is not to everyone's taste but some aspects are rather nice.
