Update to this :

So i was unable to find issue myself so sent the car to range rover garage i use.

Turned out to be ABS ECU, Part replaced with part from breakers yard and coded to car.

The yaw error went away and no more errors.

So if anyone has this issue, Do the simple checks first but in my case was the bloody ECU..

(come across this thread after being told about this so seems its can happen http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/post187653.html ) 2003 Range Rover 4.4 Litre V8 - Adriatic blue

I've currently got the same problem. The IID tool says it's the front right ABS sensor open circuit.

Hah, seems ABS ECUs are flavour of the month!
I was getting rear right ABS sensor fault, so promptly replaced it. This didn't fix the issue, but I continued driving around for a week or so and noticed the ABS inactive warning only appeared after driving around for 30 mins or so, i.e. when the engine was hot.
So it seems I suffered from the dreaded wire bond issue.
A "new" secondhand ABS ECU from ebay, chassis number programmed and all is good again.

Andy first replace what its says, so ABS Sensor.

hopefully it will just be your ABS Sensor

but if this don't fix it would start looking at ABS ECU, Seems they did suffer from heat soak (wire bond issue) from being in the engine for many years. alot posts over on the BMW fourms after i found out the issue from my garage i had and searched on bmw fourms.

Tell tail sign is normally when car is fine when its starts but when engine gets nice and toasty the error pops up.

Dont even try buy new ABS ECU module new there silly prices !! second hand for land rover breakers yards.

my garage got mine for £150 and charged 3 hours investigating the issue and checking all the wiring. so at least i now know alll the wiring is fine. 2003 Range Rover 4.4 Litre V8 - Adriatic blue

Mine does it from cold. A few minutes after it faults and the brakes lock up, it realised and drives fine. Then when I switch off and leave it for a few minutes and start it up again, it faults again.

Today, no faults. So bizarre.

Just to resurrect this thread, I am having exactly the same issue. Happy all wheel sensors are good and replaced yaw sensor.
Is there a seperate ecu for the ABS or is it the box that sits on the back of the ABS pump that causes the issue ?
Note the comments re heat. Mine will be fine for the first mile in the morning and then fault, but the other day in the heat wave was faulting immediately. No7 - 2003 V8 Vogue
