When I purchased my 2010 Vogue Se, it had tinted rear windows. Which I believed was factory fit.

However today whilst washing the car, I've noticed that the tint has a slight cut in it.

Surely if it had been factory fit this shouldn't have happened.

Would it have had Privacy glass as standard

If not would it be possible to get it replaced by a good vehicle tinting company Three things in a blokes life his dog,his car and a Cornish pasty,nothing else matters.

tints dont normally come as standard...my 2012 westie had aftermarket tints fitted before i collected it and as it happens one window had a cut...

the dealer organised the tinter to come to me and replace the tint...

i would ring a few tinters for a quote.. ... - .- -.

I think if it's got factory privacy you can't see the heating elements from outside, as the actual glass is tinted. With the aftermarket film, you can, as the film is behind the elements..... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

Factory fit privacy glass is tinted glass. There is no film. Yours must be after market!

If you go onto vindecoderz.com and punch your VIN in it will give you a spec of the car.
My RR has factory fitted privacy glass and it comes up in the spec as Glazing - Rear Side Privacy Glass [036EX];
Run yours, i suspect you wont have that!

When you see a RR with factory fit and then aftermarket film next to each other it is quite easy to spot. Although factory fit PG was a must have for me (Prefer the look, as you can see the heating elements through it), there is nothing wrong with good quality aftermarket tint film. Jordan
