United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV6 Loire Blue

We ended up with a late MY17 VSE in Dec of last year, absolutely brilliant bit of kit with no issues in 3k miles. Really really pleased with it.
The last LR product I had was a Disco 3 about 15 years ago which I rejected after 2 weeks and swore I would never have another LR again. Went German for the next decade. It looks as if JLR really haven’t changed much. If you get a good one you get a good one, if not you are in a world of hassle.

Couldn’t afford the MY18, kinda glad I’m poor now !

Adam,
shame my mate as these cars are stunning to look at.
I have now run out of patience, cameras stopped working last night.
E-mail sent to dealer lets see what today brings.
I am not prepared to accept anything less than 100% perfect on 100k+ plus car.
I now honestly think they never will get these issues sorted.
Off to look at RS6
I do hope we are isolated cases but something tells me we are not

You need some swift action and the dealers are in the hands of the factory in these early days.

Take it to the factory entrance, park it up IN THE WAY, lock it, keep the keys and leave it. Tell you want it fixed and returned, when they agree give them the keys and not before. That'll make them them sit up and take notice because I don't believe they give two hoots about anyone's problem. We need to inconvenience them, maybe a photo sent to the tabloids or a video on You Tube of fed up rich barstewards in the posh land rovers getting upset and dumping their cars back at the doorstep.

I'm happy to come and pick you up from there and run you home!

I worked at an Audi dealer when I was a nipper and I sold a convertible to a rather intimidating customer. He had a px but most of it was cold hard cash. His car arrived from the factory and next day it had a window smashed. This was repaired and he was not told in case he got mad. He collected it but came back next day saying he spotted some paint correction on the door (yes, it had in fact been touched up). We confessed all. He was furious, and I mean really furious. Cut a long story short he threatened to drive the car at speed into the glass showroom aiming for the A8. The dealer principal hid in his office but granted a full cash refund on the spot. The gentleman took the cash, gave us the keys, and disappeared back to his campsite.

This was in the days before the consumer law change for more easily rejecting cars. Regardless, sometimes a little bit of krazy is all you need to get results. Thumbs Up

Last minute delay with my car..told just as I was setting off to collect.

Apparently LR have an ongoing "Brand problem" with Keyless entry (KVM), caused by thefts in London and a new update to try to stop the Censored s getting round the system.

Steve the RS6 is a great car but it does not have that feeling of sitting above it all and everyone Wink that the RR gives.
In all honesty i would seriously (and try to get above the looks) check out the Bentaga as i, sure the service and car would be what you, we are looking for. The new v8 has superb report,s as well.or a lovely second-hand W12.
Sorry to hear of your problems once again.
Regards Paul.

Seems your words are coming back to haunt you Chalky - Your quote back in February Smile

"Just been talking to my dealer about delays.

My car was due for build on 16th March, delivery 24th (Vogue SE 3.0, British Racing Green (what else?)). He now tells me it will be built next week, delivery first week in March! No delay there then" Whistle

Ha! Yes, never speak too soon.

It's not JLR's fault, just one of those things I suppose.

I think the issues are much bigger than LR are telling dealers / dealers are telling us (and I really trust mine).

All the vehicles that are being delivered tend to be those of lower derivatives and near base specification. My dealer had told me that they are yet to deliver ANY Autobiography derivative vehicles.

Sorry I was referring to their quota. I'm led to believe that very few high spec vehicles have been built...
