When I compiled my 4.4 tdV8 Fault Log thread I only looked at threads from L322’s, but I didn’t find a single reference to serious engine problems.The highest mileage car had done over 240kmiles and was still going well.

yeah, I think this surprised many folk who thought the sd/tdv8 were bullet proof - and seemingly are. Land Rover technical were certainly "interested" I guess I was just unlucky. |

I wondered what was under the plastic...where mere mortals do not venture... Just interesting. Filters are in fact so good that in certain circumstances, when the ambient air is already polluted, a diesel car will tend to extract more particles from the air than it emits. Emissions Analytics worked with........etc etc

You read about bits of metal getting into pies etc and food recalls so maybe some factory "contamination" ?
