New key

Forum member is selling an L405 slimline key.

They say - and I don’t doubt them - it’ll work on my L322. Just needs pairing with an IID tool.

I’m buying the key.

Trying to find the pairing process on here but no joy. Would someone point me
In the right direction please.

Thanks. What do I put here then?

I assume you have an IID tool coded to your VIN.

If so page 118 onwards in the GAP manual may help. It's available to download on the GAP site, but I think you will have to log on to access it.

With the app running

Service/test
BCM-body control
Program keys
Follow the prompts. Cheers
Richard

Do have an IID.

And thank you for the pointer. What do I put here then?

I'm staggered how simple that was.

Followed your 'directions' for the menu.

Option to add key. Did what the tool told me.

1 min later ... done.

Thank you for your help.

Thumbs Up What do I put here then?

Great and thank you Thumbs Up

Bit cheeky I know, but if it's the key where the rubbery case is unsticking you bought, a refurb kit can be had. I have just done mine as it was peeling both sides and beginning to look like it would/did let in pocket fluff. Have some piccies if you do to assist.

Kit costs £14.50 from Dan at Duckworths.

Whinge.... the back piece doesn't have Range Rover embossed on it. (first world probs.) Rolling Eyes Cheers

A bit of glue will sort my old key.

The new one is a lovely small number. What do I put here then?
