United Kingdom 2009 Range Rover Westminster TDV8 Stornoway Grey

It is an AGM one.

I'll get the silicone hoses next time I need one - too late for just now as I'd already ordered from Advanced but the BAS ones seem like the real long-term fix. 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)

Are those blue ones from BAS and for a TDV8? The ones I found on the website are black

https://bellautoservices.co.uk/store/range...ack-5-ply/

Just want to check I'm looking at the right thing. Mind you, black probably preferable, given that I'm not a 17 year old boy racer in a tarted-up Citroen Saxo 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)

They are Samco hoses. Not cheap, but not all silicone hoses are made the same Thumbs Up

I had these in blue, as my Disco 3 is blue, so they match Embarassed Laughing
But they did say they can make them in any colour at all, on request Thumbs Up

Thanks Mike, will have a look for those. Am considering just getting silicone ones and keeping the other one I ordered in the boot as a spare. Now I know how easy it is to change, I could do it at the roadside if I had to

Edit: Found them, I think

https://www.merlinmotorsport.co.uk/p/samco...2-tcs-566?

Is that them? They seem to be for a RRS, but from other research I think they might be the same. Anyone know for sure? 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)

I think they're different parts on the L322 / L320.

Try these ones: https://www.lhss.co.uk/land-rover-hoses/turbo-hoses/ - right at the bottom.

When I checked they were £63.60 or £79.20 with clamps (+VAT + postage). 2016 Skoda Octavia VRS Estate

Can recommend Prestige Jaguar near Paisley airport for all things Land Rover and Jaguar, I prefered them to Monarch, were just a bit more professional and slightly lower hourly rate too. 2010 3.6TDV8 Stornoway Grey/ Black interior - gone

Update - new hose delivered today, less than 48 hours after ordering - thanks to Advanced Factors for fast delivery, well under the 3-5 days quoted Thumbs Up

Won't get time to fit until Sunday but fingers crossed the Fatty will be back on the road by Sunday lunchtime.

Nipping about in a hired Fiat 500 is doing my image no favours Rolling with laughter

Just to bring this to a close - new hose fitted. Took me about 10 minutes, a fair bit of wiggling required to get it securely on. Not quite a 2 min job Grofus! Laughing

Gave the MAP and MAF sensors a bit of clean out with electrical contact cleaner while I was there.

End result - car running like a dream now, I swear it feels a little bit smoother and more responsive. Probably just in my head though. And the Fiat 500 has gone back too so all back to normal.

Start the clock until the next breakdown Laughing 09 RR Westminster 3.6TDV8 - Stornoway Grey / Black interior - now gone (sad face)
