Olders

I to have just been quoted by Beadles (not including the cargo net);
ERA000033LYR - £23.10
ERA000023LYR - £23.10
EPX000112PVA - £7.72
EPX000102PVA - £6.88
I have a feeling i am somewhat light on the parts - On page 2 of the other thread, RRUK's diagram in red - item 2 is it needed? also in the diagram 5 of the fitting instructions 2xinserts!.
Not quoted for were the screws, nuts washers or the underseat plastic surrounds.
I was told by Beadles that the 'kit' was no longer available.
Perhaps if you contact Beadles they will give you a part and price breakdown.

Many thanks DavidP.

I have investigated this further with Beadles and they have provided me with this quote for the full "Kit" including the cargo net and fixings to attach the roller to the rear seats when folded.

Was dealing with a chap called Richard Elliman, who, for what it is worth, seemed pretty clued up.

(Haven't posted an image before, so hopefully this will work!)

NB. This quote is itemised and includes the part numbers, so it may be of use to any other members thinking of adding this accessory. Particularly when considered alongside RRUK's very helpful thread here:

I have been down this road before fitting this to my 06 FFRR. Everything was fairly simple except for the brackets that allow you to attach the blind to the seat when they are tumbled forward. In LR's infinite wisdom they had discontinued the screw (well bolt really) that secures the bracket to the seat frame with no part listed as an alternative. My parts chap was very helpful and had a couple of workshop guys growl through the entire screw and bolts bin to find something that did the job, he order a spare bracket and was trying them on other vehicles in for work that day. It took about 3 weeks but in the end he came up trumps. Unfortunately I don't have a part number to help you as the just arrived in an envelope with a compliments slip... 06MY 4.4 V8 Autobiography Cairns Blue with Navy & Parchment Interior

If I was doing it all again I would just but the metal permanent (but quick and easy to remove) dog guard. It takes up less space in the rear, looks nicer and also doesn't have straight edges where a dog could jump through to the back seats.

The metal one clips into the roof the same as the roller version and has 2 straps that secure it at floor level. Its much less bulky and heavy than the roller one and you don't need to get all the bits for the side trims etc.

You can pick them up on eBay for about £70-90.

Good advice!

Many thanks! Thumbs Up

Out of interest, would a cocker spaniel be able to get through the 'side gaps' on the retractable guard? Have seen a photo of it installed but it is difficult to tell! -----------------------------------------------

I went for the full height metal dog guard, it looks great, but a pain to take in and out, so I mostly leave it in. Thankfully the parcel shelf still fits with it in.

If you buy a 2nd hand full height dog guard, make sure you get the floor mounting brackets, which are bolted down using the lashing eye mountings. You can't buy the brackets separately, so if you don't get them you will have to fashion something yourself.

Olders et all

Olders, thank you for sharing your quote, mine was also from Richard and slightly enhanced after asking the question.
Total closure isn't needed for me as i'm not transporting dogs, more an easy self storing barrier.
Thank you all for your help and advice.
David

Great info, I have the net cartridge, but need the fixings too. Seems to be confusing the dealers so will just give them the list. Thanks! Current Drive - 2005 Model Vogue Td6 Black (Touchscreen)

Just ordered all the parts via Lookers Battersea, they were really thankful for the Beadles printout, otherwise I would have been there all day. Does not seem to be a popular product as they have never even seen the net fixture! Current Drive - 2005 Model Vogue Td6 Black (Touchscreen)
