Retractable Cargo Net Fittings

Hi all,

I want to fit a retractable cargo net to my 07MY Vogue SE, however the 'hump' fittings as shown in the manual don't seem to be there - instead there is just a flat trim piece. In any event, I thought the retractable cargo net was standard on an SE of this age? Confused

Any ideas on why it isn't fitted and indeed how I go about doing so?

Thanks in advance! -----------------------------------------------

I don't know the real answer, but when I was looking to retro fit one to my 2006 Vogue SE, all the 2nd hand ones on ebay were from 2003-2004 models, so perhaps it was option from around 2005.

It was never standard, always an option.

I have a black 1, with the 'Hump' fittings that I have just taken out my 2007 TDV8, if interested Thumbs Up

And its also worth knowing that on the later cars they stopped making the brackets that allow the roller blind to be repositioned when the rear seats are folded forwards, as per some of the pics in the set in that thread. THE INVENTOR OF THE TERM "FULL-FAT RANGE ROVER" :

I didn't get those, but wouldn't have used them any way.

I'm pretty sure it came as standard on my first Rangie (one of the BMW engined ones in about 2004).

It also had a feature that you could slide the parcel shelf down behind the seats. That doesn't work on my 07, as far as I can work out.

Thanks all.

Very useful thread RRUK, many thanks. Thumbs Up Bow down - Sounds like you had a nightmare!! Hope my stealer experience is a little better!!

nbunney - Many thanks, would be an ideal solution however I think a black one might look a little strange with my interior, which is the parchment colour. -----------------------------------------------

RRUK - just had a quote from Beadles Landrover (no particular reason why them... just happened upon them on the internet as Landrover Parts suppliers) of £72.89 inc vat for the fittings. (I assume this is for both sides).

I think in your previous thread you mentioned that the fittings were about £18 each plus a couple of quid for the plastic clip jobbie. Am I being totally ripped off or did I read your previous post wrongly? Exclamation

I don't suppose you can recall the correct part numbers for the various bits you needed for the fittings?

Thanks in advance! Thumbs Up -----------------------------------------------

I think by the time I'd got ALL the parts it wasn't far off. I spent more in diesel going backwards and forwards to the dealer after they didn't sell me all the parts i needed Censored

Sorry, not got the part numbers any more. THE INVENTOR OF THE TERM "FULL-FAT RANGE ROVER" :
