Whilst i was in there!

The other night I broke down engine stopped dead with what turned out to be a fairly major fuel leak from the sensor at the far end of the main fuel rail under the inlet manifold. we are in the process of fixing that, replacing all the glow plugs (as they are accessible now) but my real question is and has probably been covered to death, but what are peoples take on EGR valve (Leave well alone, Keep & Clean or Get rid?) I got rid of it on my Discovery 2 and that appears to be complicated compared to the unit on the RR so feel free to have your 2p worth....

Cheers

I got a kit to remove it when I had a TD6. Never caused any issues doing so.

bought a blanking kit when I had one, the valves are some state when you take them off. Dead easy to do too. I managed it without setting it on fire..

Did mine on my tdv8 it looks complicated but once you start it’s pretty straight forward but well worth it and no lights on dash πŸ‘πŸ‘
