United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Java Black
4.2l Supercharged Factory options

Hi All!

Recently purchased a 4.2l Supercharged MY56 Facelift model.

When I was inspecting the car I noticed it didn’t have auto lights or wipers. The light switch is missing the auto setting and doesn’t appear to have a sensor in the windscreen. I always assumed that this was a standard option for all facelift supercharge models. Could anyone shed some light into why mine doesn’t have it ?

Probably going to retofit it so if anyone can shed some light on how to do and how easy it is it would be appreciated.

1st of many posts….

Many thanks in advance !

United Kingdom 2017 Range Rover SVAutobiography 5.0 SC V8 Waitomo Grey

I'm afraid I dont know for definite what was std vs optioned, but until your post, I had thought that the facelift 4.2 SC which was MY 07 and 08 were an enhanced Autobiography spec - basically with all the toys. Many of these were optioned again when it went 5.0 in MY 09. Mine certainly had everything including RSE and the auto bits you're asking about... Mike - MPx

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Autobiography TDV8 Baltic Blue

I’ve owned a 56 plate pre-facelift and a 2007 facelift and both have had auto lights.

The Supercharged was only available as a Vogue SE and back in 2007 the Vogue SE was fully loaded with very few options so I’m amazed yours doesn’t have auto lights.

I have a MY06 with a 56 plate registration and it has Auto lights.

However looking in the price list I have for MY06 published June 2005 you can choose to have "Climate control heated windscreen" but in brackets (must delete rain sensor and auto lights) maybe that is what you have

I have an 06 pre facelift SC. It has auto wipers and lights etc etc, although mine is an autobiography so that might be why?

Thanks for the replies chaps!

I think Bigbo is into onto something as my brother also has a MY56 supercharged (both 07 builds) facelift. We lined them up together at the weekend and both noticed how my windscreen had some sort of tint on it.
