New to me

Well this is only my second post so don't laugh to much. After selling our 1960 series 2 last year after 8 years ownership which I now regret I started having a serious itch for another land rover and my sights turned to a ffrr.we looked at a few after standing on the side lines of the ffrr site and gleaning as much info as possible but they were generally not good enough being rusty around the usual places.
Then after a while an ab 2010 with 250k came up that looked like it would fit the bill so I put the money down now don't laugh.
After picking it up and driving home (220 miles) it all seemed OK except it felt a bit loose on the rear,it had a fresh MOT on the 20th December 2023 I picked it up on the 6th of January this year.
So I drove it down to my local MOT whom I know to get it checked over.I was soon summoned down the pit to see what the problem was and was shown a rather worn knuckle joint, well not one but three.
the top nearside was the worst and was told that you would never have missed that on an MOT especially as the rear disc's had been replaced for new ones also.We had a good look over the rest of the car and was told that all else was in very good order
I ordered up new range rover items and I replaced all 4 of knuckle joints as I don't mind getting my knuckles dirty.
So after a couple of months ownership im quite pleased with the outcome so far.

England 2012 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Buckingham Blue

For future reference:

If you order online from the forum sponsor Advanced Factors there’s a discount code available AF4LRP with a min order £100 …… so fill up with service items.

If you’re after genuine LR parts contact Duckworths and mention the forum & they’ll give a discount as well.

I’ve used both and would recommend. TDV8 4.4 2012
