My car is at the garage so can’t take a pic of my Bluetooth module install. But in the meantime, I took the lidded storage cup out of the centre cup holder with the intention of restoring it.

Personally I'd just Scotchbrite it and give it a couple of coats of satin black. 2012 (L322) 4.4TDV8 Vogue SE, RSE, Fuji White over Arabica.

That would probably do it. But there’s nothing else in the cockpit with a satin black finish. Unless of course I go a step further and paint the cup holder, gear lever surround and heater control fascia to match. That could work actually. Thanks! |

Hi, you could use some leather paint that matches your existing trim, it sets quite hard and yet retains a sort of rubberised feel to it. Surprisingly hardwearing and you can apply it with a small sponge, a couple of coats to get a uniform finish.

An interesting option. My interior is biscuit with a black centre panel on the seats. I could do the storage cup lid in black and I think it would work. Nice idea, thanks! |
