In fairness there is a saving as the first service is generally cheaper, then getting more expensive to the 48 month annual service. The main reason behind it is to proactively secure repeat custom during ownership, and to give some convenience re budgeting.

I just wonder what's to stop me being hard nosed about it and just paying the up front payment, get the service and MOT and walk away? Got - 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black

Would you miss paying out £350 odd in an instant ….. Yes

But since the car's nearly due a service and MOT, that would be maybe more, so I would need to splash the cash anyway!  Got - 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black

Hi Alan , I can confirm that the services are as per manufacturers scheduled service, over and above this your car will receive all flushes and also a 1 litre top up bottle of oil which are usually extra but included with the service plan. You won’t be liable for any retest fees if repairs are completed within 7 days as per MOT guidelines.
