United Kingdom 2018 Range Rover Autobiography TDV6 Corris Grey
Evoque Poll

I am curious to know how many of you here would consider buying an Evoque either a primary vehicle or a second car.

It is a very different vehicle to Range Rovers of the past and is not as imposing on the road.

I have one on order for delivery in January and am planning on part exchanging the Vogue SE. My logic is, I do not need a big vehicle, have been very impressed with the wife's Freeloader SD4, the performance is outstanding. Good acceleration and economy. I am expecting the Evoque to be better as it is a lighter vehicle.

So lets see what the poll yields.......... 2018 Range Rover Autobiography
2010 Land Rover Freelander XS
1959 Series II
1950, 1952, 1954. 1955, 1957 Series I

I have just realised some of you here may already have an Evoque, hopefully a friendly helpful moderator will come along and add that as an option! 2018 Range Rover Autobiography

I haven't voted as the option I want isn't there. I wouldn't buy one because I think they are too small and they look Censored .

I did consider one but after test driving the car, it is not for me. It's a lovely car. Well made. The size of the car wasn't a huge issue for us.

The nail in the coffin for my wife and I was that the back windows were a bit too small. I have a 4 year old who will happily stare out the window on a long drive. I have gotten this far without having to stick a iPad, iPhone, portable DVD player in my daughter's hands. Paul

Would never consider one because it is too light to tow the caravan.

All great replies and I am not surprised, we looked at a brand new Vogue up for £72k which would have meant adding at least £45k on top of mine and found it hard to justify, especially when the replacement will be out in 2012.

So we are going with an Evoque, my wife thinks I am mad, but I hope she likes it, she is yet to drive one. I personally would have had a Disco 4 XS 2012 model with the more powerful engine and 7 speed box, but she did not find the seats as comfortable as the Evoque...........

We loved our Disco 3, and the FFRR has been the best car I have ever had, after having a string of Mercs.

Land Rover are not expecting any moves out of a L322 to an Evoque, but some of the forum members may have been tempted by the better economy and smaller size, seems very few have though. I still have until mid January to make my mind up, the dealer has promised my deposit back if we don't like it....... 2018 Range Rover Autobiography
