I did look at Thule, but couldn't find one for 4 bikes - which I need |

Looks from the pictures available to be almost identical in design to the Thule one anyway.

I wasn't sure how well that type would work, as our bikes vary in size and don't have the traditional crossbars for mounting on carrier. |

I load up mine and the wifes full size mountain bikes - my 11 yr olds mountain bike (about the same as the wifes) and a small 6yr olds no problem. The crossbar issue hit me too but you can buy Thule accessories that clamp between the seat post and the handlebar stem and act as a full height crossbar. "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."
