Our neighbour has a "Cart Lodge" type garage also (i.e. no doors) and it too looks lovely. Tell me - do the cars keep frost free in the cold.? Do they have frozen screens in the morning or are the sufficiently under cover so as not to freeze up..? Ash

Hmm So your saying its better for your car to park it outside in the winter rather than in a proper garage? I think I'll stick with the garage

I never said that, I said it wasn't good to put the car in the garage soaking wet. If however you have adequate heating and ventilation in the garage it will be fine

Okay, but your certainly implied it by making your wife park outside instead of inside

Parking a wet car in a cold unventilated garage is the worst thing for it. It's the best way to help it rust. Fresh air is good for a car. No longer FF owner but still interested. Present car Jaguar XE
