Is it just my end as the forum seems to running quite slow as to loading up pages and sometimes it freeze's for about 10/15 seconds before it loads up a page |

Does it stall loading the banner, or just take ages before it shows anything? |

I would say it stall's loading the banner during which it takes 10/15 second to fill the Browser bar |

You could try installing "Adblock Plus" depending on your browser.
