I bought a camper trailer with LED tail lights. I towed it home without issue other than the 08MY L322 didn't recognise there was a trailer hooked up. The tail lights worked fine, including when night driving.

I've discovered the trailer socket set up in Australia is different to Europe. It looks like pin 5 is a tail light in Europe but a trailer brake in Australia. So that explains the brakes coming on with the lights.
