United States 2008 Range Rover Westminster Supercharged Java Black
2008 Westminster Supercharged to 2010+ MY Conversion

Hey guys,

I just recently found this great forum. I am a member on RR.net, Luxury4play.com, and landroversonly.com I wanted document my recent 2010 MY conversion. Finally after sourcing all the parts I needed to complete my 2010+ MY conversion I dropped off my truck at Tag Motorsports in San Diego 2 months back. I got lucky that I found a local guy who wanted to convert his 2004 L322 into a 2006+ so I was able to sell him my wheels and all my parts! Ended up getting close to 4K (US dollars) for my parts. Not bad eh? lol I was able to talk him out of spending his money on a cheesy chrome STRUT grille package. The conversion ended up costing me a reasonable amount after selling all my parts. Not bad considering the current RR model is essentially the same truck introduced back in 2003...minus some electrical, mechanical, and engine components. My Rover only has 23,000 miles on it.

By the way it is a 2008 L322 Supercharged Westminster Edition... in case you were interested.

What I had done:

1) 2010-11 Headlights (found a lightly used set on Ebay...as opposed to $2700+ the dealer wanted)
2) 2010-11 Tail Lights (brand new set off ebay)
3) 2010-11 Front Bumper from dealer (brand new)
4) 2010-11 Front Grill + Side Vents (craigslist-off brand new dealer car)
5) Brackets, resistor, crash-bar, and other miscellaneous trim pieces
6) Painted grilles satin black, door handles java black, badging + lettering in satin black, and other trim pieces in satin black...added java black mirror caps as well.
7) Brand new dealer take offs - 20x9.5 OEM 2011 Range Sport Wheels powder coated matte black with semi gloss finish
Cool Wheels wrapped in 285/50R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers 31.2" Tires - (I don't want to be limited to tarmac with 22's/24's...even though they would look awesome on my truck)
9) Contemplating Alcantara Headliner as well...
10) 2011 Autobiography Anthracite Oak wood steering wheel w/heated function (from DCC4x4 in the UK) Can't find this item in the US anywhere.

Here are some pics...hope you enjoy Smile

Not my cup of tea, but do like the tyres also! Only my opinion and have to say it looks a well done conversion .

However doesn't look like a 2011 A/B steering wheel to me!

It's Anthracite Oak...Westminster Edition. In 2008 there was no option for an Anthracite Oak wood wheel here in the states. Since there hasn't been a Westminster Edition since 2008...the only Anthracite Oak option I have seen is on the Autobiography models. So I am assuming that's the case...either way. It matches perfectly and still maintains heated function...whereas in 2008 a heated wood wheel was not offered. 1) 2008 Range Rover Supercharged Westminster (Converted to 2010+ MY)

Great all-terrain tires. I go inland to the desert fairly often and they are solid. Haven't had a chance to test them out in winter conditions...as I live by the beach. But I will try and get up to Lake Tahoe this winter. From what I heard...they should do great. 1) 2008 Range Rover Supercharged Westminster (Converted to 2010+ MY)

I'm certainly a fan, the car looks awesome, if I'd bought a black L322 I'd have went for a similar look.
Robert. The reason women's minds are cleaner than a mans mind is that women change their minds more often!
When women say fine a mans in deep doodoo as fine has so many meanings.
