Got mine (by courier) at 8:30 this morning. Initial impressions are that the display is really good. However, it really shows up the apps that have not been upgraded for the retina display. Feels a bit more responsive on the keyboard than the old one. Not certain if it is really worth the upgrade unless you travel a lot and can take advantage of the higher speed cell rates (I do travel so hope to be able to report back on that).

Slightly concerned that while the iPad has been setting up and downloading all my apps from the Cloud it has been plugged in and the battery is still discharging. Still FFRR owners know and love batteries

I only bought my ipad2 in May last year and in no great rush to buy the new one 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded

I was about to say I still enjoy the ipad 1....but I have found its not charging at all, suspect battery problem. Has anyone ever changed one? Apple want £100. Ive seen some batteries for sale on fleabay but don't know how easy it is to fit one.  2006 MY Autobiography. With 'toys'

I've loved my iPhone 3GS and the 4 I have had for a year now but couldn't bring myself to upgrade to a 4S and I think the same can be said for moving from iPad 2 to the "new iPad" but since I have never owned an iPad of any "breed" my time had come

No queuing for me but I did wait up for the Apple Store to go live on the day it was announced and ordered one. It arrived yesterday at 10.15am - an early delivery for me normally unheard of

A day or so on and I'm really impressed, could well be the death of my laptop

We now have an iPad1, 2 and 3. I used the iPad1 and now upgraded to the 3. It is much better, faster and the image quality is improved.

I would not see the 3 as an upgrade to the iPad2 though. Current MY2020
