The intravee only works for the iBus (pre touch screen RRs) and I'd hope that spanner is not writing about his X5 in a ffRR forum Laughing
Assuming the items are installed in the vehicle, there should be next to nothing that the intravee can do an an X5 that it can't in an 02-04 ff. They are electronically nearly identical.

Cliffy, check to make sure you don't have an early version of the firmware (especially if you bought the intravee used) and check the menus. Some of the options need to be found.

Scotland

a nice one I found was using the terminal connected to the intravee the comman ssnx can chnage the source options names as it doesn't work otherwise

taken from intravee support forum:

ssnx name

where x is the port number, 1 through 6, and name is the name you want to assign.

For example

ssn1 DVD Changer

would name port 1 to "DVD Changer". all smug in my new plug!
