I am sure that CTC will be able to give a definitive answer, but these look like the ones I had on mine (and quickly ripped off) which were OEM

Skoda is one of the best all round cars I've ever had. Fast, comfy, as it's an estate it swallows any load, and it drives well.

Those mirror caps in the pics are the same as mine. Are we thinking oem? There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

Just a thought could you use a heatgun or hairdryer on the back of the mirror casing to try and soften the adhesive . Might give you enough play to remove the covers .. Present :2008 TDV8 HSE

ah!

slight problem. Couldnt lever them off. thought i was likely to pull the entire mirror off if i pulled much harder.

spatula down the back, nearly there.

Hid a bright idea. Guitar string and 2 sticks and use like a cheese wire.

DONT do it Big Cry managed to saw through part of the rear shell of the actual mirror. Bo***cks

they are off now anyhow, so to cover up the damage im going to have to have to spray the covers and refit them. or fit a new wing mirror.££££. There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

On Censored !!!! You can purchase colour coded mirror covers from powerfuluk.com and they are as good as OE ones... Fit them all the time Whistle (should ask for a commission Whistle ) Laughing
They will cover any damage and look better than chrome ones!!!

Have etch primed, painted and lacquered the old ones tonight.

Look much better.

Will glue on tomorrow.

Edit. Now finished, as managed to touch one before dry. So they have had

2 x etch
2 x grey primer flatted off between
2 x black gloss
2 x java black
2 x lacquer

The paint is now thicker than the plastic Very Happy There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
