2007 Range Rover Vogue SE TDV8 Java Black
Warranty

Hi
I bought a 2007 RR TDV8 last october - second hand privately. I have had a bit of work doen at LR under warranty - but this is dues to expire in February. Is there any way to extend the manufacturers warranty - I;ve had a succession of BMWs before the RR - each time, then the used car warranty expired I was offered a chance to extend it. With the costs of lookign after these cars - I think it may be worthwhile if I can.....anyone know if I can do it. I really dont want an aftermarket warranty "off the shelf" - my only experiences with those have been shocking - with refusal to pay for any problems when they arise!!

Hi there I think you will find that they will write to you and offer you the chance to extend ( as in buy ) the warranty. They did with me on mine back in summer last year. Not cheap but probably worth having if you have had a few warranty issues ! Thumbs Up

A number of members here have foudn the extended warranty to be worthless and over priced. Check the small print of what is NOT covered, it will shock you. £1,100 is a lot of money to not spend and keep aside for a potential problem.

Have heard that some after market warranties have been better such as Tesco even.

Tescos have stopped doing them.

I have a warranty on my DSG Caddy Van from warranty direct - the good thing is that it covers wear and tear Thumbs Up '09 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto for the Mrs
