No longer a fullfat owner

Well guys the range rover is now in the hands of its new owner Big Cry

I'm now a Porsche cayenne turbo driver which I know not all of you will agree with Whistle

But 450bhp and 0-60 in 5.6 secs in a 4x4 is a pretty dam good way to get over it Very Happy

P.s hope you all don't mind but I'll still be popping in from time to time Thumbs Up "RANGEISM WILL NOT BE TOLERATED"

Sorry to hear that times are hard, these austerity measures can be a bitch.

Should we start a whip round to get Pretlove back out of his jumped-up beetle?

Rolling with laughter Nice one David ...

To be honest, it was a toss up between the FFRR and a Cayenne for me too ... and the cayenne was cheaper! But wife prevailed (one of the few times I have to concede she was right) and insisted that we opt for comfort over speed and handling ...

pretlove, how do you find the ride - I believe the turbo version comes with air suspension as standard so it should be decent? African Bush Junkie ... in London!

I had the choice as well and am happy with my FFRR as it looks a lot nicer (to me). Hope you have a good time as they are reported to be excellent cars (although there are a few issues with the earlier ones apparently). I have been in Cayenne S a few times (didn't drive it) and must say it is an impressive car to drive.

To me it is more a matter of taste which car you like best than that one is better than the other. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

My boss has a Black Cayenne with the black wheels very quick but he binned it in the snow and looks like a drug dealer driving it. And wheres the excitment of knowing you are going to finish every journey.

Seriously enjoy your new motor Thumbs Up Mine was a blue one! Smile

I had my eye on a Cayenne Turbo for a while when I was looking for my Merc. but bottled it on the basis I thought they'd be horrendous on fuel.

I'd still like to try a one just to see what they're like.

Good choice I say, they look and sound quite nice IMO
