Roof rack strips loose

The passenger side roof rack strip which runs the length of the car and then hangs over the windscreen is coming loose again - it appears to be clipped in place at the front with a white plastic thingy (not clipping down in my case) - is this an easy to replace item by any chance (he asked out of hope not experience) ?

Roof Rack strip

Hi there, I've had the same problem with mine, in my case the white clip had been installed the wrong way round, it has a circular bump on one side that located into a notch in the trim. I removed mine with a screwdriver between the channel and the clip, protecting the paint with a thin piece of rubber. I then inserted the white clip into the roof rack strip and pushed it back onto the peg in the gutter. The clips are available from the dealers if it's damaged.
Hope that helps
Peter

That's worth a go thanks - I usually manage to break plastic bits when "levering", but it's better than my alternative of using marine epoxy to "clip" it back !
