It seems many FFRR-owning members of this parish also own other interesting cars.

Lately, we've had Lotus Carlton's, a Citroen DS, a Rolls Royce and quite a few other Land Rover products.

And it also appears that many members want to know more about these, but the discussion is often limited within the on-topic confines of the subject area.

Maybe, to allow members to expand on their other machines, and to allow a greater discussion area for other members to freely discuss them, would a seperate area be a worthwhile addition or would Admin feel it to the detriment of the FFRR forum?

To me, it just adds some more external colour to the forum. A little more depth, if you like.

Does the current "Off Topic" forum not provide the a suitable place to discuss other cars? Or are you suggesting an "Off Topic - Other Cars" forum?

Martin, I was suggesting the latter as a dedicated OT area.

We're all car fans and these things are usually discussed in the My RR area.

I'm not saying it'd be a success, but it's a good way to keep FFRR talk seperate and for the non-FFRR car stuff to be pored over with more detail.

If time, maybe some kind-hearted person could move a few of the already dedicated threads (RRUK's Defender springs to mind in OT) over there?
