Restoring blackness of pillars and steps?

Hi the pillar trims on my ffrr are looking a bit faded as are rhe steps. Any idea which products to use which wont smudge as soon as you touch?

Autoglym Bumper/Trim Care works very well.

If you want something that lasts a little longer mothers do a "permanent" bumper dye although I use Gtechniq C4 which will last over a year.

Bought some of the Autoglym today and tried it - excellent results highly recommended on all black trim. "On first name terms with my local Dealer......now."
