Hello all

Today when the sun was shining I noticed that the laminated privacy glass on the drivers side second row windows was an odd shade. It was almost like a brown shade rather than the black of the tailgate glass. Is this normal? On Topix I noticed that there is a bulletin talking of 'Second Row Discoloured Laminated Privacy Glass'. Any ideas?

Same here...I put it down to the fact they glass is laminated Current MY2020
Gone: 1 x L405 and 2 x L322's

My SC had factory fitted rear privacy glass, as has my TDV8 and I'm convinced the SC windows were much darker then the TDV8? I put it down to different shades in different years?  Got - 2017 SDV8 Autobiography in Loire Blue
Had- 2008 TDV8 Vogue SE in Java black
Had - 2007 S/C in Stornoway Grey

Thanks for your replies. It's very odd. I think in your case it may be because your SC has privacy glass but not laminated privacy glass and your TDV8 does? I think it's the laminating which makes it weird if yours is the same AMD. Would make sense because the tailgate glass isn't laminated.

laminated side glass came in with the 06my - with the Supercharged and facelift , SC or TDV8 shouldn't therefore make any difference, unless the shade was changed.

Mines exactly the same so I dont think its a fault, works ok on mine as the car is Bournville. 2021 P400 Silicon Silver AB
