Rub down with grade 400 wet & dry then grade 1200 then grade 2000 or 3000 would be better, then polish up with cutting compound then polish and wax |

I replaced this in my old range rover. It's not the worst job to do and I think it cost 30-40 quid |

have tried rubbing them down after 2 hours they are looking ok i may have a go at painting them tomorrow |

There is a post on here tonight about spray on rubber finish for them, will look pretty stock then.

Yes I was reading that Plasti-Dip is a spray coating that will put the rubber feel back. It is used on many BMW and Land-Rover parts. Tom
