Problem with my big catfish

Hi all ive got a 150 gallon tropical fish tank and one of the inmates a 30 inch shark catfish has decided to swallow my algae scraper i can understand why he has as it looks like a big fish stick / crab stick but my problem is how do i get him to cough it up as he will keep it in his mouth thinking he can digest it other than wrestle him and try to retrieve it from his mouth myself but he has big teeth and could easily swallow my hand Any thaughts ? onto no6 Range Rover

You need a fish mouth spreader available from fishing tackle shops

I have a couple of mouth spreaders in my fishing bag, if you were closer you could have had one.
