Mine's a 2008MY with the 6Spd auto and as I'm now at 82K I'm thinking about doing a oil and filter service on the gearbox to help with smooth changes and longevity, as I may keep this car longer than I normally do (I just like it so much! )

Has anyone done it at home themselves, is access ok and anyone got any pics or tips on doing it?

I've heard that LR do a double flush method where they drain, refill, then drive the car for a bit, then drain and refill again (Hence Dan wanting to sell me 10 litres of oil!)

Has anyone had a Dealer or Indy do this and what was the cost?

Seeing as it is the same box as the D3, why not do a Megaflush?

Apparently that changes up to 98% of the oil. Google it if you re unsure  Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

Have started to hear about that. Also heard that changing the oil could be the worst thing ever to do to it and could invoke issues I don't even have? Discovery 4 HSE
