I noticed today that on a rough track, at off road height, there was much knocking coming from the very front of thae car, but at other suspension heights, normal road driving, there is pretty much no noise at all.

I have done a search, and can't find anything on here.

Not sure if its not something like a plastic tray or something....

Anyone had similar ?

A few of us on here have had a knocking at normal height on the road, I've still got it on mine after replacing almost the entire suspension on the passenger side but it still does it at all heights. Range Rover 4.4 V8 Vogue

I had knocking at normal height, and that got sorted by the dealer when I bought the car.

Not convinced its suspension yet to be fair.

I know the angles of joints etc is slightly different at off road height, but not by that much surely ?

It's in the bodyshop having an upper tailgate swapped and quarter panels sorted etc at the mo, so can't look.

Should have had it back yesterday, but now looks like next Tuesday.

Missing it already.

I have read several articles, off-road tests, that mentioned this (on new/test cars). Have a look around as well, you may find out that it is normal. MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!
Have the Faultmate MSV2 Extreme to be tinkering with the settings etc. !!
