Car detailing

I'm wanting to give my motor a good clean and was wondering whats the best value for money items
Ive heard of detailing kits or clay bars etc ?

Yeah - as Bob wrote - take a look in the wiki.

But I'll add a vote for Bilberry Alloy Wheel Cleaner (wipe on - rinse off) and Auto Finesse Crystal Glass Cleaner.

Your wife might feel a little hurt if I suggested a particular clay bar, and I couldn't anyway as I haven't been to one in 20 years.
