2006 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Java Black

Aircon compressor types

Evening all,

Does anyone know whether the aircon compressors are interchangeable between different engine models (i.e. BMW V8, Jag V8, TD6, etc)?

I think I may be needing one; there are some listed on eBay, new and used, but I'm not sure what will fit my (Jag engined) car?

Pretty sure part of the 07my 'interior facelift' included an improved more powerful a/c system .... Would assume this means different compressor

2017 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Carpathian Grey

From 07 on, they have better compressors, you can see it at the optic, and you can change the groundmodels from Audi allroad, Porsche Cayenne, BMW and also from Mercedes Airmatic, all have the same price....
