As an aside then, per my question about resetting gearbox adaptives, is this a feature which can be added in a future release please?

Gents regarding my post about the IIDtool not being able to read engine fault codes, bent pin 7 slightly and it has worked. Thank you.

It depends on which SW version you have in the nav computer and the country code setting. Some combinations allow nav on the move, some don't.

I've just had a play with the DRL settings on my 2003 4.4 and I have a question;

i think the dip beam setting would be accessing the Scandinavian part of the drl which does have the rears on as well...

That would make sense, I though it would be like my TD5 Disco where you could access the Canadian DRL which just have the dipped headlights on.

i believe if the canadian setting isnt programmed into the LCM then it cant be accessed by the IIDTool... ... - .- -.

I think the number it shows is the number of ECU's it is accessing to look and then clear the faults if there is one.

Yeah you both are correct. It's counting the number of ecus it's accessing, not the number of faults cleared.
