| FFs/c Member Since: 16 May 2012 Location: Scotland Posts: 34    | i wouldnt mind a diesel but i just think it'll be too slow for me and not as reliable as the petrol, gearbox issues on the td6 spring to mind. i am tempted by the BMW propelled 4.4 petrol as they are reasonably priced and with a good bit of power anyone have any real life mpg figures and know what the reliability is like and how it compares to Jaguars 4.4 petrol engine?

 all over it on acceleration and the TDV8 will out perform it on every test... But, it is still a more than capable beast. I love it. Touch wood, it runs sweetly and I can't really justify "upgrading" to a TDV8, although that would be my choice if buying my first FFRR again.
