Gearbox s--t itself after 40k

Not a happy bunney, just been dropped off at the garage by the AA

New gearbox and transfer box was fitted by Landrover in 2009 at a cost of £4500

It just ground to a hault pulling in to a parking space turned off then back on selected drive then reverse back in to drive and slowly pulled forward. I left it parked for an hour, then up on return it seemed ok for...............200 yards, then same again.

Its only managed 40k!!!!!

Ive dug the receipt out from the last replacement and it was actually 38000 miles

LRCS maybe as they have a rep on here called Nick who seems so far to be pushing a good service for LR FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's
