2010 camera to 2006 RR - Help please ...

This morning I'm attempting to fit the 2010 reverse camera conversion to my 2006MY. It's all gone resonably well until I've come to plug it in !!

Both plugs (the loom and the camera are male sockets) am I missing something, or do I cut and join them Shocked

Any help would be gratefully received Thumbs Up

I just thought I'd ask here first in case I was missing something obvious. I only wanted to cut as a last resort (I don't know which colour goes to which, one socket has black and red, the other has red/yellow and brown)

havnt got a defo answer but video feed cables are normally braided with a 'center' cable and an 'otter' one..if theres one cable left then it'll the live feed with the camera being earthed to make the circuit, if theres two cables left then its pot luck.. ... - .- -.
