Computer software package advice please

OK Chaps and Chapesses, I'm looking for some recommendations for a bit of software please.

What I want it to do is keep an archive record of weekends away with pictures etc. Not just an anorak type of miles travelled/fuel used etc but a way of keeping the pictures in order and some other bits of information.

Basically, we're trying to organise the photos and remove the "Where was that then?" type of question. We go away a couple of times a month with the caravan but we also travel for tropical holidays and work. Just want some kind of package to keep it all in order.

All help appreciated. Cheers. Dom.

Mac or PC? If you've got a mac then iPhoto does this for you, and if your camera has GPS it'll automatically tag the photos with the location they were taken.

For Windows, Google's Picasa might suit you? Graham

Windows Graham, well for the PC's in the house anyway. SWMBO does have IPAD and IPHONE though but the main contect and indexing will be done on a PC.

Anyway, will take a look at Picassa. Thanks

Dom
