I took our FF in to our local dealers earlier this week for them to correct a few minor issues (none of which they were able to sort as yet ) one was the DAB reception, it's fine while you are stationary, all stations can be tuned in OK but as soon as you move off you lose the signal, incidentally the RRS DAB works fine so we do get a good signal here. Now the dealer informs me that the FF's radio is not that good and they are 'all like that' now I find this rather hard to believe, can this be right? Has anyone else had this problem? might be a bad connection or fuse for the amplified antenna has blown [dont ask me which fuse] which in theory will let you pick up a signal when stationary but cant hold on to it when mobile..

you could do a reboot of the system by disconnecting the battery [how to in wiki] to see if that helps...... ... - .- -.

DAB in most parts of Essex (especially the Western parts) is very strong - you'll get a signal on the National DABs without an aerial almost.

Dealer is talking rubbish (what a surprise).

Yep, another dealer full of B.S.

As already stated on the national stations it rarely drops out for me. The regional ones can sometimes but a lot depends on the terrain.

If in your area the RRS DAB is fine then the FFRR should also be ok
