might be a bad connection or fuse for the amplified antenna has blown [dont ask me which fuse] which in theory will let you pick up a signal when stationary but cant hold on to it when mobile..

I should work tell them they HAVE to fix it and quickly or you will complain to Land Rover.

DAB in most parts of Essex (especially the Western parts) is very strong - you'll get a signal on the National DABs without an aerial almost.
