New fuel pump connection procedure

Does anyone know how to properly connect the new petrol fuel pump on the FFRR (mine is a S/C). I have a new pump arriving soon so the level info will be all wrong, how is that reset so the ECU starts looking at the new level floats ????? MY 2010 5.0 SC Galway green and sand interior!!

Is it possibly something the BlackBox unit can do?

I'd imagne it should be a simple drop in process as the float should go to the same position as the old one and thus be fine as the pumps will usually only fit in the sot on the top of the tank one way? FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I fitted a new pump to my previous 02 4.4 no need to re-calibrate the gauge just reconnect and switch on. I hope the SC is the same as I may have to change mine soon.

Stewart.
