I would personally not bother with a new SC unless you have money to burn.

The TDV8 ticks all the right boxes, much more economical and has WAY more torque than the SC engine. And, lends itself to being chipped too.

You'll get over 500 miles to a tank in the TDV8 compared to what you get now ( 250 miles?)

When you do come to sell it on, there will be plenty more potential buyers for the TDV8 than a petrol guzzler. Discovery 4 HSE
