What are your tips on how to work mpg out folks? I had an old method years ago, which I haven't used for a while. Fill the tank until you can't get anymore in, drive for 100 miles then fill up again. Whatever it took to fill it up is what 100 miles has used, and work it out from there.

You're never too far from a garage though. At around 95 miles you can start hovering around one! 2010 MY Vogue SE TDV8 3.6 Stornoway Grey- fully loaded |

I brim the tank full, then drive till tank nearly empty, brim it full again note the litres used, convert to galls and divide miles travelled by the galls. |
