Front washer Jet

Anyone know how you get these out are they just a push fitting from underneath the bonnet or do you prise them off from the top , Reason for asking i have a touch like an elephant and patience as short as cat's s.hit so more liable to snap it off … . Rolling Eyes

Tried googling and searching came back with nowt ,

If they are the same as the earlier ones they are held in place with a plastic spring moulded into the body of the jet. It's at the front of the car end.
Press in with a screwdiver just under the bonnet and push the jet up.
Pain in the a... when they are cold.

No water coming through , disconnected the hose to it and thats fine water coming through okay , tried the pin stuff , still no joy so thought the jet itself must be gubbed

The jets have a small non-return valve arrangement in them.
The silicon rubber plunger tends to get knocked out of position and block the inlet water way. I wouldn't be surprised if when the nozzle freezes overnight and then thaws when the car is used, the thawing causes the plunger to get dislodged.
You can take them apart and reset the plunger and the spring if you have a mind to..
I personally think taking the nozzles apart and throwing the inards away and re-assembling and then installing a proper non- return valve in the supply pipework would be a better solution.
I've had two go in 12 months.
